PORTSMOUTH, NH – January 4, 2005 -- MEETINGMATRIX INTERNATIONAL, INC. AND DEAN EVANS & ASSOCIATES INC. FORM ALLIANCE. MeetingMatrix™ International, Inc. (MMI), of Portsmouth, NH, and Dean Evans & Associates, Inc. DEA has opted to partner with the industry’s most advanced and leading edge room diagramming solutions company, MMI.
Since 1986, Dean Evans’ EMS software has streamlined event space and resource scheduling, calendaring and event management operations for a wide variety of facilities including conference centers, schools and universities, corporate meeting facilities, hotels, convention centers, government offices, associations, churches, healthcare facilities, performing arts centers, arenas, parks and recreation departments, and a variety of special event centers. “As the worldwide leader and original innovator of room diagramming solutions, MeetingMatrix has an enduring commitment to forming solid, value-based, strategic alliances," said John Secord, vice president of MMI. "Developing stronger footholds and expertise in both the University and Conference Center markets is a major goal for 2005, and we welcome DEA’s very broad experience in these markets, as we extend our technology reach.”
“MeetingMatrix is an outstanding company with well-designed, well-supported, time-tested products,” says Kevin Raasch, executive vice president of DEA. “We’re very pleased to announce the signing of the reseller agreement, and we feel that our customers and prospective customers will benefit from having another option available to them as they consider a room diagramming solution.”
“One of our ongoing objectives is to serve as a comprehensive resource for people in the event scheduling and facility management industries who are looking for information on products and services that can help them do their jobs even more effectively,” says Raasch. “Developing relationships with strong companies like MMI is one of the ways we’re doing that.”
As both companies prepare for a strong future together, an interface between MeetingMatrix solutions and Dean Evans’ EMS software is in the works. With this integration, the two systems will be able to easily share event-related data.
